Actress Elizabeth Tabish believes the world is torn by conflict and desperately needs messages of peace and hope.
All of that is conveyed in the upcoming Christmas movie, “Christmas with The Chosen: Holy Night.”
The film is scheduled to run in theaters for six nights from Dec. 12-17.
It combines two Nativity-themed episodes, “The Messengers” and “The Shepherd,” into a seamlessly remastered and re-scored narrative.
The movie features a special performance by Andrea and Matteo Bocelli.
Centered on Jesus’ birth, it offers diverse perspectives converging on the beacon of hope embodied by the Christ child.
At one point, Tabish expressed that the world is currently overwhelmed by an abundance of pain and tragedy.
“The movie is about the birth of Jesus. And it’s told through a few different perspectives,” she said.
“But all of it comes down to this beacon of hope, which is the Christ child and the peace and joy and freedom that comes with that and with Him.”
Presently, the world witnesses over 25 wars or conflicts, notably including high-profile ones in Israel vs Gaza and Ukraine.
The actress noted global pain and news challenges discerning effective actions, leaving uncertainty in addressing profound suffering.
She said, “It’s hard to imagine peace on this earth. Yet, I’m excited for this film to be out in the world for people to watch this to be reminded of peace.”
She noted the episodes seamlessly edited, forming a narrative that almost feels like it’s always been presented that way.
“The stakes are getting higher”

With a passion for storytelling, she has become a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
Tabish is looking forward to the early next-year theatrical release of Season 4 of The Chosen.

She praised the incredible performances of her fellow cast members in the season. She explained that within the plot “the stakes are getting higher.”
“There’s a lot of pain this season.” the actress added. “There’s a lot of grief this season. But there’s also hope and light. It’s got some of my absolute favorite stories in the gospels this season that I’m really excited for people to see.”
With that being said, Tabish’s character undergoes maturation, displaying newfound confidence as an integral part of the group in this season.
She clarified that her character is now actively focusing on the teachings of Jesus, which some other disciples might overlook.
