Carissa Sharon Oyakhilome: The Princess of Loveworld 

With a new hubby and a double LIMA win, Sharon Carissa Oyakhilome is becoming the face of the Loveworld gospel scene.

Sharon Carissa Oyakhilome, known to her fans as CSO is an extremely lucky lady. The gospel starlet is still basking in the glow of double win from November’s Loveworld Music Ministry Award (LIMA). The annual award ceremony celebrates the many talented artists in the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry and is apart of the mega global event called the International Pastors’ and Partners’ Conference.

A Dream Come True
Gospel Royalty Carissa Sharon Oyakhilome has been following in the ways of Christ for entire life. Her strong sense of devotion was instrumental in her writing the smash hit and Worship Song of the Year, ‘Holy Spirit’, a dream she had for many years.
The starlet prayed for a song that would inspire and motivate the masses to ascend to higher levels of devotion. I suppose all her praying worked because she succeeded in creating a song that uplifted millions of people. Following the big win, the gospel starlet took to social media to express her immense gratitude and the dream she achieved writing a hit worship song. Here is her incredibly heartfelt post.

“Wow! To have won the award of “Worship Song of the Year” is so huge and undeniably supernatural. Then on top of that, the song of the year (2018) – seriously 10 years in 1!! In 2014, I told myself one day I will write the worship song of the year! And in this year of the supernatural, my first released worship song was deemed worship song of the year! The testimonies that came from this song were unfathomable. I’m grateful to God for every good and perfect gift comes from Him and I’m grateful to my husband for his love, support, and constant encouragement! Thank you all for celebrating me! God bless you.”

A Blessed Union
CSO has certainly proved to be a force to be reckoned with. Her mega success is not only limited to the stage, but also in romance. The starlet bagged the exceedingly successful African arts entrepreneur, Phillip Frimpong. The two wed at the end of last year in Lagos Nigeria, in what was described as “the biggest wedding Nigeria had ever seen.”
Their engagement that took place a little over a year ago rocked the world of Loveworld social media followers. In response to Frimpong’s incredibly romantic proposal, CSO took to Instagram to post her overwhelmingly moving declaration of love.
“YES! I am engaged to my very best friend! The most amazing and my absolute favorite person…I am so, so blessed I would say yes over and over I love you.” Wow, What a lucky woman.
Her post inspired love in her millions of followers, reminding them the magical and pure love does indeed exist.
