The Nigerian gospel singer Sinach drops a music video for her new song, “Peace in the Storm,” on her YouTube channel tomorrow, September 3rd.
The artist announced the premiere date on her social media accounts, where she also gave a sneak peek of the forthcoming video.
“Peace in the Storm” is Sinach’s third single this year. In March, she released “All Things Are Ready,” which currently has close to 800,000 views on YouTube.
It was followed by “Always Win” in July, where Sinach teamed up with Zafenate Panjeh Balbino Alvarenga from France, Cliff M and Farlon from South Africa, Soraya Moraes from Brazil, Bonny Andrews from India, Brian Kim from South Korea, Martin PK from South Africa and Jeremy Innes from Australia.
That song has close to 500,000 plays on YouTube.

New worship album
In June, Sinach told CNN Africa that she has a new worship album coming up. Since then, no additional news about it has been disclosed, but it is expected to have the three singles from this year on its tracklist.
Like many other projects this year, the making of the upcoming album has been affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“Over the past few months, we have all witnessed a shaking like we have never seen before. While many are talking about economic impact at corporate level, not many are paying attention to individuals whose hearts, mind, family and finances have been greatly affected by these events. These lyrics are not only inspiring, they are also full of faith declarations. I pray that as you sing along from different parts of the world, it will help you to focus on what is important and will cause a change and turn,” she wrote on Twitter when she released “Always Win.”
Three GMA nominations
Sinach was nominated for three GMA Dove Awards just a few weeks ago. Her song “Way Maker” from 2015 is among the nominees in the categories Song of the Year, Spanish Language Recorded Song of the Year and Worship Recorded Song of the Year.
Sinach has written and released “Way Maker” herself, but it is Priscilla Bueno’s Spanish version of the track that is nominated for the Spanish Language Recorded Song of the Year.
In the category Worship Recorded Song of the Year, it is Leeland’s version of it that is nominated, but Sinach is still listed as the writer of both Priscilla Bueno and Leeland’s versions.
The GMA Dove Awards will air on October 30th. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the show will be without an audience and with pre-recorded performances and acceptance speeches.
