Gospel singer Osinachi Kalu popularly known as Sinach has dedicated her daughter with husband, Joe Egbu. The musician and her family dedicated their daughter during the mid-week service of the Christ Embassy Church. This is a truly beautiful moment for any parent.
Big news from the big stage
The world was overflowing with joy for one of Gospel music’s finest voices when it was revealed that she had given birth to her beloved daughter prior to the prestigious LIMA Award Show. When Sinach was called to the podium to receive the award for ‘Song of The Year’ by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome he went on to announce the big news.
Gospel music fans recall the moment when Pastor Chris said, “Thank you for that song, we are all excited with what the Lord has done in your life, of course in the life of many others standing with you here we just love you. And I told them, you just had a baby! So, everybody got excited.” It was a truly magnificent highlight of LIMA 2019.
Beautiful partnership
Sinach got married to Joe Egbu, a Christ Embassy Pastor, in 2014. When it was announced that this wonderful couple had been blessed with a child five years after their wedding the global audience was moved to tears. She has more than one million subscribers to her YouTube channel and has penned some of the most uplifting gospel songs of the past decade including, ‘Way Maker’, ‘I Know Who I Am’, ‘Great Are you Lord’, ‘Rejoice’, ‘He did it Again’, ‘Precious Jesus’, ‘The Name of Jesus’, ‘This Is my Season’ and ‘Awesome God’.

She took to her Instagram page on Thursday, February 13, 2020, where she shared a photo from the dedication. She went on to thank her family friends who came out to celebrate her husband and herself.
“”I think happiness can sometimes overflow and you can only be grateful forever and just say thank You, Lord! #mypreciousgirl 💕💕💕 Thank you to our friends and family that came out to celebrate with us ❤️,” she gushed.
In a similar vein, her husband, Joe Egbu took to his Instagram page where he announced that their baby was dedicated at the church on Wednesday; “I wish I can increase the Paternity Leave 😁. Our baby was dedicated to JESUS CHRIST yesterday,” he wrote.
We are all honored and delighted to share in Sinach’s joy and happiness. Her songs have given her millions of fans many beautiful praise and worship moments. The song ‘Overflow ‘won ‘Song of the Year’ and we here at Good Gospel Playlist are so happy to see pictures of this beloved family.
