The Christian duo For King & Country is releasing its fourth studio album, “What Are We Waiting For?” on March 11, but it is already possible to pre-order the record on For King & Country’s website.
Along with the announcement of the album, the duo released the new song, “Unsung Hero,” which you can listen to at the bottom of this article.
The two brothers of For King & Country have dedicated the song to their parents.
“Mum and dad’s sacrificial love and selflessness inspire us to this day. It is hard to put into words what they mean to us, but they are both truly unsung heroes of ours. ‘Unsung Hero’ goes out to every mum and dad as well as every child who sees a hero in their parents,” they explain.
“What Are We Waiting For?” features 13 new songs. They include “Unity” with Dante Bowe, “Harmony” with Sleeping at Last and “Together” featuring Kirk Franklin and Tori Kelly.
“What has been particularly beautiful about this album is that we were able to be home with our families while making it. We cannot wait to now take more new songs on the road, to see you out there and make new memories with you all,” Luke and Joel Smallbone of For King & Country say.
Dante Bowe joins For King & Country on tour
In March, For King & Country embarks on an American tour, where they will promote “What Are We Waiting For?”
The tour of the same name kicks off on March 31st in Southaven, Mississippi and ends on May 22nd in Franklin, Tennessee.
Dante Bowe of Maverick City will join the duo on the road.
Tickets for the tour are for sale on For King & Country’s website.
Supporting people in need over Christmas
Over Christmas, For King & Country toured the United States with their “A Drummer Boy Christmas Tour.”
“It is the most wonderful time of the year… And one of our favorite shows to perform! We are thrilled to be bringing ‘A Drummer Boy Christmas’ to you in person and indoors for the very first time. We will be bringing the lights, the stage and all the holiday cheer. And in the spirit of giving, we will be supporting our friends at The Salvation Army to help families in need throughout the tour. Looking forward to ringing in this Christmas season with you,” Luke and Joel Smallbone said ahead of the tour.
In December 2020, For King & Country hosted the “A Drummer Boy Drive-In: The Christmas Tour,” where fans sat in their cars in front of a stage because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Back then, For King & Country partnered with The Salvation Army for a national toy drive, where fans were asked to bring new, unwrapped toys to the concerts that would be picked up by the local Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army would then distribute the toys to families in need.
